All XSOF™ sites are ISO 9001:2015 registered and we integrate the standard into everything we do including our MRP system. While some use ISO 9001 as a marketing tool, we use it as a pillar in our management system and overall infrastructure. From first customer contact to final inspection to packaging and shipping, we document and verify that we are meeting or exceeding our customer’s expectations.
Mobile Clean Room with High-Volume Airflow
We have a mobile Clean Room, with high-volume blowers for a controlled and clean environment.
Isolated Machine Shop & Cable Prep Area
Our facility contains a noise and particulate isolated machine shop and cable preparation area.
High-Precision Multi-Fiber Polishing
Our production polishers simultaneously polish multiple end fittings while maintaining tight tolerances for angle, flatness, and end finish.
Specialty Polishing for Ends
We also have a specialty polishing station for single fiber ends and ends caps.
Advanced Inspection & Measurement Capabilities
Our facilities contain the tools necessary to know we are meeting specifications. Inspection and measurement equipment includes, but is not limited to: a custom-built video micrometer for a measuring concentricity to 1um, various surface imaging systems at magnifications from 40X to 400X, a confocal trinocular scope with image capture capability, multiple stereo scope with oblique illumination for surface finish inspection, various lasers, laser diodes, Halogen and Deuterium Light sources for use with spectrometers and power meters, a beam profiler, a DICM inspection scope, and much more.
