Polarization Maintaining-Large Mode Area Photonic Crystal Fibers (PM-LMA PCFs) preserve the polarization state of single mode lasers. They also maintain single-mode transmission of high-power, low noise, narrow line width, single-mode lasers used in quantum systems for trapping/cooling and manipulation of atoms & ions.
We have several end cap options as well. Our HP2.5 termination has enabled engineers and researchers to deliver >20W of single-mode laser power for nearly 10 years. Our custom termination options and ability to integrate PCF into standard fiber optic connector interfaces enables our customers to benefit from the performance advantages of PCF without the need to re-engineer optical tooling and hardware.
